Complete Story: Mobile phones in Chennai keep disappearing because of an Unknown Evil Force. The clueless government co-ordinates a Team of Scientists and other officers to deal with the situation. Vaseegaran (Rajini) brings back Chitti to find out about the strange happenings. Rest of the story is about what this Evil Force is all about and how Chitti fights it to save the people.

In Telugu states, Robot 2.0 Collected 18.2 crores, In Tamilnadu, it collected 16.2 crores In Kerala it collected 4.1 crores, In Karnataka, it collected 7.5 crores, finally, it collected 24.3 crores North India alone.
