WWE Hell in a Cell Results: Jinder Mahal defeats Shinsuke Nakamura

  • Yes, let’s address the elephant in the room. Of all the matches on this card, this one should’ve been in the Cell given all the interference by the Singh Brothers. Why is it a normal match? I have no idea.
  • Jinder Mahal is from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Same as Bret Hart. Never forget!
  • Yes to Shinsuke using more MMA in his matches. More of that, please!
  • I wonder is Shinsuke ever forgets that it’s not a 20 count like it is over in New Japan? I know I would.
  • Heard earlier this week that the India broadcast portrays Jinder as a face. Not sure how that works given his in-ring style and consistent cheating.
  • Singh’s try to interfere outside, Nak knocks them both out. Goes for a diving knee, misses, Jinder suplexes him into the ring and gets a two count.
  •  Singh’s try to interfere again, Shinsuke rolls up Jinder for 2.

Charlotte defeats Natalya via DQ

  • Nattie not having the “Cat Ears” haircut is a nice touch. Makes it seem like she’s taking the match seriously.
  • Had no idea, but Nattie apparently just set the record for most pay-per-view matches by a female superstar. Broke Trish Stratus’ record.
  • Both women are working the legs. I’m thinking submission finish.

  • Charlotte sets up for a moonsault on one leg, takes too long, Natalya hits a sit-out powerbomb! Only two.
  • Nattie locks in a Sharpshooter, Charlotte Flair counters and sends her into the turnbuckle!
  • Charlotte hits a moonsault down to the floor!

Natalya breaks out a steel chair, whacks Charlotte’s injured leg. Ref calls for the bell

That was a pretty good match, but the crowd could not have cared less about Natalya.

WWE Hell in a Cell Results: Baron Corbin defeats AJ Styles

  • This match will also determine who has the weirdest haircut. My money is on AJ’s soccer mom look.
  • Corbin rolls out, but AJ and Tye still go after him. That’s smart.
  • I know it’s cool to pick on Corbin, but the man has improved so much since he first showed up on NXT.
  • Styles goes for the flying forearm, Corbin counters with a big right!
  • Corbin tries to dump Styles, gets thrown out and hit with a huge knee on the apron.
  •  Tye goes for the tiebreaker, Styles counters.

  • Styles hits Baron with the 450! Tye breaks it up!
  • AJ Styles hits Tye with the Phenomenal Forearm, Corbin runs it and boots AJ out of the ring. Covers Dillinger for the pin!

The Usos def The New Day to become new SmackDown Tag Team Champions

  • WWE Hell in a Cell Results has been around for 20 years, yet this is only the third time there’s been a tag team match inside the cell.
  • Last time was in 2009, DX vs. Legacy
  • Ok, so it’s Xavier instead of Kofi. Did not expect that.
  • Not even five minutes in and this match is already nuts!
  • “Call Bruce Dickinson!” Somebody give Corey Graves an award
  • They pinned him in a corner with kendo sticks!
  • Boom! Usos hit stereo splashes! Big E kicks out!
  • Usos breaking out the handcuffs! And Xavier’s belly pays the price!
  • Big E is running wild. Big Ending. Not enough!
  • Usos stereo superkick. Double UCE! Xavier makes the save!
  • Usos whack Xavier with kendo stick shots. Put a steel chair on him and hit Double UCE for the pin! What a match!

WWE Hell in a Cell Results: Randy Orton Wants A Heel Turn

Orton is a tremendous all-around talent, who is clearly one of WWE’s biggest draws and has helped bump up viewership for his marquee matches against stars like Mahal and Styles. But he’s also obviously mailed it in as of late as a babyface, simply going through the motions during pedestrian rivalries with stars like Mahal and Rusev. Despite that, there continue to be exactly zero indications that he will get his wish and turn heel anytime soon.

WWE seems intent on pushing stars like Owens, Corbin, and Mahal as the blue brand’s top villains, which has left Orton in a babyface role that isn’t exactly ideal for him. Perhaps Orton will continue to phone it in hopes of WWE deciding to turn him heel, but as of now, he looks destined to be stuck in a babyface role that his very little direction beyond a series of “RKOs outta nowhere” in route to victories over promising stars like Rusev that ultimately do nothing for either guy.

Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens

Issues between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens’ has grown extremely personal.

Shane-O-Mac’s return to the same steel prison he dove off of at “WrestleMania 32″ against The Undertaker comes as a direct order from his father.

Mr McMahon then offered to Owens to seal the deal between them, and Owens accepted. But KO then crossed, the line, brutally battering Mr McMahon in a vicious assault that left the “WWE Universe” in shock. It looked like this battle was personal, to begin with, but Owens brought it to a completely unthought of a level after his vicious attack of the WWE Chairman and Shane McMahon’s father.

And as the animosity grew to a fever pitch in the highly personal rivalry, Shane would eventually add the additional stipulation that their match will be a Falls Count Anywhere.

WWE Hell in a Cell Results: Jinder Mahal vs Shinsuke Nakamura

After the disappointment of SummerSlam, Shinsuke Nakamura will get another opportunity at Jinder Mahal’s WWE Championship at WWE Hell in a Cell Results tomorrow.

Nakamura made it clear he was not finished with his pursuit of Mahal and the WWE Championship in the weeks after SummerSlam, but another of the titleholder’s rivals, Randy Orton, stood between him and a rematch for SmackDown LIVE’s biggest prize.

The Viper flattened Nakamura, letting The King of Strong Style know that the path to another WWE Championship Match would not be an easy one.

The two clashed in a first-time-ever showdown on the Sept. 5 edition of SmackDown LIVE. Despite Orton pulling out all the stops, Nakamura fought back and clobbered The Apex Predator with a thunderous Kinshasa to earn the championship opportunity.

Natalya vs Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair earned the opportunity to face the Becky Lynch and Naomi as well as the intimidating Tamina on the Sept. 19 edition of SmackDown LIVE, setting the stage for a highly-anticipated struggle between two Superstars who have championships embedded in their DNA.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya is, of course, a graduate of the infamous Hart Family Dungeon. Moreover, she has proven to be a ruthless competitor, and there is no doubt she will do anything it takes to stay on top of the SmackDown LIVE mountain after her moment of triumph at SummerSlam.

As the daughter of two-time WWE Hell in a Cell Results of Famer Ric Flair, Charlotte has taken the WWE by storm from the moment she set foot in the squared circle, using her incredible athleticism to become the first-ever Raw Women’s Champion and making history by competing in and winning the first-ever WWE Hell in a Cell Results between two female Superstars.

WWE Hell in a Cell Results: The New Day vs. The Usos

However, the champions have upped the ante in the ultimate fashion.WWE Hell in a Cell Results demanding that the latest chapter in their epic rivalry be written inside the confines of Hell in a Cell.

Bigee and Xavier Woods were then unseated by the Samoan warriors at SummerSlam Kickoff. This led to a brutal showdown on the Sept. WWE Hell in a Cell Results 12 Sin City Street Fight in Las Vegas, which once again returned the illustrious titles to the larger-than-life trio.

Bobby Roode vs Dolph Ziggler

WWE Hell in a Cell Results: may indeed prove to be a glorious pay-per-view, but not if Dolph Ziggler has anything to say about it. The disgruntled Superstar is set to battle flashy up-and-comer Bobby Roode tonight, in what is sure to be a turbulent matchup from start to finish.

The imminent clash between Ziggler and Roode has the potential to steal the show. Not only are they tremendous competitors, but both share a strong desire for respect.

WWE Hell in a Cell Results: Randy Orton vs. Rusev

According to Rusev, he doesn’t know what the word “elated” means. Here’s a word the former United States Champion will understand: Rematch.

The Bulgarian Brute is set for a third go-round against Randy Orton at WWE Hell in a Cell after a pair of lopsided contests left the two Superstars tied at one win apiece.

Orton defeated his nemesis so quickly in their first match, at SummerSlam, that Rusev’s own countrymen in Bulgaria treated him as a disgrace when he returned home.

The Super Athlete countered by attacking Orton after he’d already competed in a long match against Aiden English, notching a swift victory of his own against the exhausted Superstar after The Drama King interfered.

The Viper rained all over the Rusev Day parade attacking. The Bulgarian Brute with an RKO and offering. The Super Athlete a chance to face him one-on-one at WWE Hell in a Cell.
